The PBA employs a dedicated team of professional lobbyists who actively advocate for legislation that benefits law enforcement and corrections officers. Throughout the year, our legislative team identifies and highlights pro-law enforcement and corrections bills, secures sponsors, and tirelessly promotes policies that support our members' interests.

Additionally, every two years, the PBA conducts thorough political screenings across the state to support the election of legislators who champion law enforcement and corrections issues.

Even between legislative sessions, the PBA maintains ongoing communication with legislators, providing them with timely and relevant information on matters affecting law enforcement and corrections.
